S. Anthony Long
Anthony is the founding attorney of the Long & Mathies Law Firm. He was admitted to the bar of the State of Indiana in 1970 and isadmitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court; the U.S. Court of Appeals, Six and Seventh Circuits; and the U.S. District Court in the Southern District of Indiana.
A native of Tennyson, Indiana, Anthony graduated from DePauw University in Greencastle with a Bachelor’s Degree in psychology in 1966, and was a member of Beta Theta Pi social fraternity. He received his law degree from Indiana University School of Law at Indianapolis in 1970. Elected in 1978, he served as Warrick County Prosecutor until 1994. He is a member of the Warrick County, Vanderburgh County, Indiana State and American Bar Associations; as well the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association, the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the National College for DUI Defense, Inc. and serves as a Fellow of the Indiana Bar Foundation. Active in politics, Anthony is the Chairman of the Democratic Party Committee for the Indiana Eighth Congressional District. He is also a life member of the National Rifle Association.
Warren C. Mathies
Born in Huntingburg, Indiana, Warren was admitted to the Indiana bar in 2004 after receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Purdue University and completing his legal education at Indiana University School of Law at Indianapolis in 2002. His past service as a senior executive with the Indiana Department of Environmental Management and as a staff fellow to the Governor of Indiana provides him with insight into problems and issues with government. He is a member of the Warrick County, Vanderburgh County and Indiana State Bar Associations.
Warren is a registered lobbyist for both government entities and Fortune 100 Companies and is the Legislative Director of the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association and a charter member of the Brain Injury Association of Indiana. He is also a licensed pilot by the Federal Aviation Administration.
S. Adam Long
Son of S. Anthony Long, S. Adam Long is a native of Boonville, Indiana. Adam graduated from the University of Southern Indiana in 2002 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and received his J.D. in 2006 after attending St. Thomas University School of Law in Miami, Florida and Indiana University School of Law at Indianapolis. Adam was admitted to the Indiana bar in 2006 and has also been admitted practice before the U.S. District Court in the Southern District of Indiana. In 2012, Adam became a Certified Family Law Mediator.
Adam is the County Attorney for Warrick County, Indiana and shares the attorney responsibilities for the Warrick County Department of Parks and Recreation Board with his Father, Anthony. Adam currently serves as President of the Warrick County Bar Association and is a member in the Indiana State and American Bar Associations. He is also a member of the Brooks Inns of Court, a member of the National College for DUI Defense, Inc. (www.ncdd.com) and a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (www.nacdl.org). Adam also proudly serves as a board member on the St. Mary’s Warrick Hospital Foundation.
